The City of Eastland has transitioned to a new credit card platform which will allow customers to pay their City of Eastland utility bills online.
The new platform will create a new credit card service fee to the customer and is set by the new provider. The new fee will be 3.5% with a 95 cent minimum. On a minimum utility bill of $106.26 the new fee will be $3.72 for a total of $109.98. This fee will be applied to any and all credit or debit card transactions with the city.
Under the new system the city will now be able to email or text to the customer a receipt upon completion of the transaction.
Online bill pay can be accessed by pc, tablet or mobile device at www.paytpg.com or by clicking the link on the Utility Billing Department page of the city website at www.cityofeastland.com. Follow the How Do I drop down to the PAY Utility Bills link. Click on the Pay My Utility Bill Online logo.
The new service will begin April 13, 2021.
The City continues to accept payment by cash, check or money order.
